Castel Aubrac is a premium French brasserie concept developed for Osaka, Japan,
Merging authentic French terroir with Japanese cultural sensitivity. The project reinterprets Aubrac beef culture,
French gastronomy, and wine heritage within the contemporary urban landscape of Osaka.
The ambition was to build a complete brand strategy and restaurant branding system tailored to the Japanese market — from brand positioning and narrative direction to logo design, visual identity, packaging design, wine label design, menu design, editorial food photography, and hospitality art direction.
Castel Aubrac balances French authenticity and craftsmanship with refined Japanese minimalism, creating a high-end hospitality concept rooted in terroir yet adapted to a new cultural territory.
This project explores luxury food branding, international restaurant branding, French brasserie design, hospitality branding, wine branding, premium beef positioning, and cross-cultural brand strategy, delivering a cohesive and immersive brand experience designed to stand out in the Osaka dining scene.
